The history of origin of Jazz music goes back to the date of 20th century. It is believed that it was originated in southern United States. Although, it is famous across the world and has seen several jazz composers who have greatly contributed emerging from across the world. It is due to some imminent musicians who made effort from tow to head to spread the essence of the music across the globe.
There is great uproar about the origin of the jazz. There is not any definite proof which strongly support its origin. Yet it is thought that it is the result of infusion of European-African classical music. As the music developed and spread across the world, it developed various sub-types. And each sub-type is famous in a particular place. Thus, it from its inception in the early 20th century till the present, it has developed various sub-genres such as new Orleans jazz in 1910,swing, Kansas, city and gypsy jazz in 1930 and 1940. from the mid 1940 onwards, west coat jazz, cool jazz, jazz fusion, funk jazz, rock, smooth, indo, urban, cyber and rapp and nu jazz have emerged as different forms of jazz.
With its diverse forms, it is very difficult for jazz composer to create an appealing and melodious jazz music. However, with constant practice and a good knowledge of every sub-genre of the music one can become a renowned jazz composer. There have been several jazz composers who have given their best to take the music to a new height. With their painstaking effort jazz music today has been so famous across the world. Like other music composers jazz composers too, are music composer. So they must have all that a music composer has. They have good knowledge of music and demand of people. For every music has room for the change or innovation.

Jazz music is quietly affected by its composer as its every performance is sung in a different style. Thus a jazz composer must have ability to give distinctive touch to the music they compose. In jazz music a vocalist is accompanied by either guitarist or pianist or bassist or saxophonist or trumpeters. Thus, a jazz musician is highly skilled in and well familiar with every sub-genre of jazz music.
